The Terms of Use govern the access to, and use of, the Website and the content and services available through the Website (“Services”). 

Use of the Website and of the Services constitutes your full acceptance of these Terms of Use. Payment will indicate that you read, understood and agree to the Terms of Use.

For the purposes of the document the following titles will be defined.
Bella Balloons & Styling – Bella Balloon & Styling  Business #: 424439645 002
Hirer – Person(s) who signed a contract and hired products from Bella Balloons & Styling for a fee
Items – All items hired by the Hirer

Payment & Damage Deposit

a. To secure the booking date for event styling or items to be hired, the Hirer agrees to place a 50% deposit with Bella Balloons & Styling within 5 days of receiving their invoice. Please note – items will not be held without a deposit.

b. We ask that you carefully review your order once you have received your quote/invoice and ensure you are familiar with our rental terms. 

c. By placing a deposit these terms are considered to be accepted by the Hirer.

d. Balance for prop hire and for event styling is due two weeks prior to event.

e. Bella Balloons & Styling accepts bank transfer, interac e-money transfer, credit card. Bank details can be found on quotations and/or invoices. Any other form of payment must be stated by the Hirer and accepted by Bella Balloons & Styling prior to the deposit being paid.

f. The damage deposit will be determined by the value of rental items and paid by email transfer or credit card. This must be paid before items can be picked up or delivered. (Debit cards will not be accepted)

g. All bonds will be held by Bella Balloons & Styling until the safe return or pickup of all items in the same condition as was hired out to the Hirer minus any reasonable wear and tear covered by the damage waiver. Late fees and damages will be deducted from the damage deposit.

  • A damage waiver is collected and is non-refundable. This covers normal wear and tear, minor dents and scratches. This fee is 5% of the rental item. This does not cover gross negligence like damage from beverages, inclement weather or wax damage.

h. If bond was received by Bella Balloons & Styling  via digital means then the Hirer must allow a 3-business day turn around taking into consideration bank transfer time frames.


i. All cancellations must be in writing. No verbal cancellations shall be accepted to avoid any misunderstandings.

j. A 5% adminstration fee, based on the value of the order (minimum $35) will be retained for all orders cancelled more than 2 weeks from the delivery or customer pickup.

k. A 50% cancellation charge applies to orders with less than 14 business days notice prior to delivery or customer pickup. Refunds are not issued for any unused items. A 100% cancellation charge applies to all orders cancelled or reduced after 7 business days prior to event date.

l. Additions with less than 72 hours notice prior to the delivery or customer pickup will be accommodated based on availability & time.


m. All showroom appointments incur a $50.00 booking fee.

n. Should the Hirer proceed with an order during their consultation with Bella Balloons & Styling, the booking fee will be deducted from the order total.

o. To secure the booking date for event styling or items to be hired from the showroom appointment, the Hirer agrees to place a 50% deposit with Bella Balloons & Styling within 7 days of receiving their invoice from their appointment. Please note – items will not be held without a deposit.

p. No refunds will be given for failure to attend appointments and not proceeding with an order.

q. Booking fee is not transferable between orders.


r. Once products have been received, the Hirer accepts all responsibilities and liabilities until they have been returned to Bella Balloons & Styling.

s. The Hirer is responsible in maintaining all appropriate policies of insurance, covering liability, property and casualty insurances in amounts necessary to fully protect Bella Balloons & Styling and their products against all claims, loss or damage. In th event of any accident or incident causing bodily or property damage, the customer agrees to accept full responsibility and shall indemnify and hold Bella Balloons & Styling harmless from any claims, actions or judgments. The customer agrees to pay any legal costs incurred by Bella Balloons & Styling in defending any such legal actions. The customer agrees to provide a full written report detailing any accident or incident including the names and addresses of those involved and witnesses.

t. Bella Balloons & Styling is not responsible for any injury that may occur to persons over the hire period or thereafter due to any products supplied by Bella Balloons & Styling whether through payment or otherwise.

Loss or Damages

u. All items supplied by Bella Balloons & Styling shall always be deemed owned by Bella Balloons & Styling.

v. All products are supplied to the Hirer on the bases of reasonable use within the advertised context.

w. Should any item/s become lost, stolen or damaged when in possession of the Hirer, the Hirer shall immediately notify Bella Balloons & Styling.

x. The Hirer agrees to pay for all products lost, destroyed, stolen, damaged or not returned to the Bella Balloons & Styling.

y. Replacement costs will be paid to Bella Balloons & Styling based on the current pricing and availability of the items on the market. Should no equivalent item be found by the Bella Balloons & Styling then the Hirer is to reimburse Bella Balloons & Styling the cost in cash or bank transfer at a cost set by Bella Balloons & Styling.

z. All reimbursements shall be paid by the Hirer within 48hrs of the drop off of all items and maybe subject to late fee/extension fee if overdue.


aa. Our items are not to be left out in damaging weather as our items are not waterproof.


cc. Upon completion of hiring all items must be cleaned by the Hirer. NO food scraps or liquids are to be left on items.

dd. If items are returned unclean, a cleaning fee of min $40.00 will be charged and deducted from the bond left as security.

ee. Cake stands and dessert plates are NOT to be submerged in water and are to be wiped down with a clean cloth. DO NOT use any chemicals. DO NOT use any water or chemical to clean our Coloured Plinths. You may wipe with damp cloth ONLY.

ff. If Bella Balloons & Styling is styling your event, we will take care of the cleaning of all items.

Hire Period

gg. All products are hired out on a 3-day hire basis – typically Friday to Monday.

hh. Hirer pick up and drop off will be communicated to the Hirer.

  • Pick up Friday – 10am – 2pm
  • Drop off Monday – 10am -2pm

ii. If a public holiday should fall on a Monday the Hirer must return their hired items on Tuesday. If a public holiday should fall on a Friday, the Hirer is to pick up their hired items on Thursday.

jj. Should the Hirer fail to return the products within the allocated time frame a late fee/extension fee of $25.00 per day will be charged. This will be deducted from the bond left as security.

kk. Mid-week hires incur a 25% surcharge on order total.

Delivery & Pickup

ll. Bump in is when the Hirer is ready to receive the items without delay.

mm. Bump out is when items are cleaned and packed up by the Hirer and items are ready to be picked up without delay. Any delays will incur an additional charge.

nn. Delivery is strictly a “DROP & GO” service at an easily accessible, ground level or in garage premises. Beyond these locations will incur an extra charge.

Extra charges may apply if:

  • You wish for your items to be taken beyond ground level of a building
  • Your event space is more than 20m from where our truck can park or pull up
  • If your items need to pass via stairs, elevators, escalators or a steep descent.
  • If you require a large quantity of items, a labour fee may be added to cover for staff time taken to load and unload the truck.
  • If you require a drop off or pick up outside the hours of 9am-5pm on Fridays and Mondays (e.g. weekends, midnight pick-ups and public holidays etc.)

oo. Bella Balloons & Styling’s Logistics team DO NOT setup and pack down. Set up and pack down is the responsibility of the Hirer.

Prop Hire Rates

pp. All hire rates are ONLY for the hiring of products and not for any other services.


qq. The Hirer consents to Bella Balloons & Styling’s use of event photos for marketing purposes provided either through social media or direct requests to Bella Balloons & Styling whether for profit or not.
